Two-thirds of December is already behind us so this week will be our final day open for the cafe and the zoo/shelter.
We will close on the 28th of December (Sat) and the 4th of January (Sat) due to the holiday season but we will be back on the 11th of January (Sat).
We open from 11 am to 2 pm in the Shimoichi former high school (now rebranded as Shimoichi Shuugakkou).
We have lots of different species of animals you can pet. The mini pigs and the Cayuga duck roam freely around while other animals supporting the cold are in small enclosed areas. The animals that can’t support the cold can be seen in the room where they are being cared for.
You can also take pictures with your favorite animals in front of our Christmas tree free of charge (You just need to pay to enter the zoo/shelter)
Our cafe also has a warm room where we offer light hot meals, desserts, and hot beverages if you get peckish.
